These terms and conditions apply to all bookings of city tours and other tourist services offered by Discover Geneva.

  1. Booking

A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed in writing (by e-mail or message) by Discover Geneva.

  1. Prices

The prices agreed at the time of booking apply. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated.

  1. Payment

Payment is by agreement via bank transfer, TWINT, or cash on site.

  1. Cancellation

By the customer:

  • Up to 7 days before the appointment: free
  • 6 to 2 days before the date: 50 % of the agreed price
  • less than 48 hours before the start, or in the event of a no-show: 100 % of the agreed price

Discover Geneva:

Should a tour have to be cancelled due to illness, force majeure, or unpredictable events, a replacement date or substitute tour will be offered where possible. Payments already made will be fully refunded. Further claims are excluded.

  1. Weather

City tours generally take place in all weather conditions, provided that the safety of participants is ensured.

  1. Delays

Delays by participants will shorten the tour duration accordingly. If participants are more than 30 minutes late, the tour may be cancelled, in which case there is no entitlement to a refund.

  1. Liability

Participation is at your own risk. Geneva Tourism shall only be liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, insofar as this is legally permissible.

  1. Copyright

Documents, texts, images and the content of guided tours are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or published without prior consent.

  1. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction shall be – insofar as legally permissible – the registered office of Entdecke Geneva.
